Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 23, 2023, National CineMedia, Inc. (the “Company”) received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) stating that the Company has cured its bid price deficiency pursuant to Listing Rule 5450(a)(1).
Furthermore, as previously disclosed on August 7, 2023, National CineMedia LLC (“NCM LLC”) emerged from bankruptcy on August 7, 2023. Nasdaq also stated that, in light of NCM LLC’s emergence from bankruptcy, the Company no longer presents a public interest concern under Listing Rule 5101.
Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance for continued listing on The Nasdaq Stock Market and the matter is now closed.
